     Device used to collect the data is a "tilting bucket" type rain gauge 
     1 mm of rain sends one pulse to the receiver. Problems include evaporation
     of collected rain before 1mm is collected and carry over of one days rain 
     which is less than 1mm into the next days data.

     tr = trace = Any observed rainfall, but not as much as 1mm.
